A few words about my new FE - would be
grateful if these could go on your web site with the pictures.

"I have ridden motorcycles all my adult life
- and a bit before that - and still love the freedom of 2 wheels over
4
any day. In my youth I worked my way through the 4 stroke Honda 250
Route, on to a Kawasaki 350, before
returning to Honda with a 500 Four then a 750 Four. I also dabbled with
a Norton Commando, but maintenance was always a problem not faced in the
Hondas. In later life I loved my VFR 750 and my GPZ 900R as useful
'Toys' - before venturing to the 'Dark Side' and a series of Harley Davidson's. Having been
totally disillusioned by the 'American Dream Machines' I tried a Triumph
briefly before discovering the
absolute majesty of a GSX 1400 K3 - in Blue and White of course. This
bike was everything I remembered from
my youth - power, torque, stability
with
a wild side when needed, fuel enough
to tour, horses enough to thrill and a bike that looks
the part wherever you go. I fell in
love with biking all over again - and the miles slipped by under the
wheels of the awesome K3 dream machine. I was gutted to see that Suzuki
had decided to stop making the GSX 1400, and vowed that I would own one
of the last models - firstly as a testament to the
machine, and secondly to extend my riding life on this great bike. I
shopped around and eventually was
offered a great deal on a K7 FE with a generous trade in value for
mine. On 3 March I went to pick her up - and she is everything I
dreamed she would be. I went to the garage armed with the MCN
Suspension Settings for my size and weight, and they were more than
happy to adjust the bike for me. I fitted a Grim Reaper Tank Protector
- with the logic that if the Reaper is on MY bike - he isn't waiting for
me somewhere along the road! It was a nice sunny day, so I rode home
the long way around - and some 220 miles later parked the shiny new
machine in the garage alongside my wife's Bandit 600. The attached
pictures were taken when I picked her up. More pictures to follow of
our adventures together in the months to come.
